20 foot is the most common rental unit due to size. Fits in most residential space and transportation costs are the most economical. We require 50’ of a straight line to drop off or pick up the unit with regular delivery.
40 foot units are commonly used for commercial or retail storage as the locations usually have space for the length of the unit. We require 100’ of a straight line to drop off or pick up the unit with regular delivery.

Street Use Permit
A street use permit is required for the placement of a moving container in the City of Calgary. This encompasses the use of a street, a sidewalk, an alley, a walkway, a back lane, a boulevard, or traffic control set-up. To apply for a Street use permit, please visit the City of Calgary website.
