This project was designed and built to support operational and display needs at the Calgary Zoo. The container was modified into a functional on-site structure that could handle daily use in a high-traffic public environment while maintaining durability and security. Interior and exterior modifications were completed to suit the zoo’s specific requirements, including reinforced access points and practical layout changes to support staff use and storage.

Special attention was given to creating a structure that blends into a public attraction setting while still offering the strength and flexibility of a shipping container build. The final result is a compact, mobile-friendly solution that can be adapted for different uses within the zoo’s operations over time.
